Whitestown's population has more than tripled since the 2010 census, with most of that growth concentrated in Anson, the planned community that began development in 2005, so most Whitestown foundations are recent construction, but they're still poured on the same expansive Boone County clay-and-till soil found across Zionsville and Lebanon.
Rapid growth means consistent construction, consistent risk
Because whole sections of Whitestown were developed within the same short window as the town grew from 471 residents in 2000 to roughly 11,276 by 2023, a grading or drainage shortcut used in one construction phase often shows up as a similar foundation-settlement pattern across several neighboring homes.
